Well we had some visitors at our rehearsal on Tuesday 8th February 2022. They were from the BBC. Their reporter Aileen Clarke and a cameraman came to visit to record a piece on Choirs coming out of lockdown and what it means to them.

Aileen spent approx. 45 minutes with us recording as we were rehearsing for our mini concert at the Springvale Care Home in Lennoxtown next Tuesday the 15th February.

The piece was broadcast on BBC Reporting Scotland on Wednesday the 9th of February. We have managed to record the item and modify it to show just the Male Voice Choir section.

Whilst about 6 songs were recorded the 2 they selected to broadcast sections of were “Always on my mind” and “Hallelujah”. It appears that both Aileen Clark and Aileen Barnett like Elvis!
