On Friday 15th March 2024, Jim Buchanan passed away. Jim was a member of the choir from 1988 till his retirement on 2016. A phenomenal length of service of 28 years! Aileen Barnett and several members of the choir (past and present – nice to see you Paul Kane) attended his funeral at the Glasgow Crematorium on Thursday 28th March 2024. The chapel was very full giving you an indication as to how popular Jim was.

Following the service his son Roddy sent us the following message “Sincere thanks to all the choristers who attended Jim Buchanan’s funeral yesterday, it made a big impact on our family, such a respectful gesture from the choir, thank you.” Our own thanks to all who attended.
