You may be interested to know that William Barr is retiring as conductor of the Glasgow Philharmonic Male Voice Choir. He is well known to us through his conducting of massed choir performances for such events as the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and the live BBC Concert from Stirling a couple of years earlier.

His farewell concert is on Saturday the 28th of May, in the new auditorium of the Royal Concert Hall, at 7.15 pm. Should you wish to attend, tickets are available from the concert website, priced £15.00 and available via this link.
